Come Learn with me: Getting Started on Etsy

I will be teaching an exciting new class for Etsy Dallas and Dallas Makerspace, Getting Started on Etsy.  This class is for Etsy beginners who want to learn all the best practices to launch an Etsy shop successfully. The curriculum I will be teaching has been developed by some amazing folks at, and I am delighted to work with them to offer it locally in Dallas.

My Etsy shop has brought me so many amazing opportunities,
allowed me to work a flexible schedule (around my kid's crazy schedules), and helped me to make so many talented friends.
And you can do it too! Come let me show you how!

Crafter-noons are my Favorite!

Recently I invited a few of my friends over for a little crafter-noon. The kids had their first day back at school, and we had some time to ourselves. It was glorious!

We had such a blast connecting over crafts with BritKits from Brit + Co and Timex. The kits included everything we needed to make adorable embroidered watches. The quality was superb and each kit was packaged like a little gift.

What a fun idea to personalize your watch!

Thanks so much Brit + Co and Timex, and thanks to my friends for squeezing some crafty time with me into your busy day.

If only every afternoon could be a crafter-noon...

Our Family Featured in Far North Dallas Advocate Magazine

Our family was recently featured in Far North Dallas Advocate magazine. What an amazing honor! It was such a treat to share our story with this local publication. I had a chance to talk with them about how shopping locally helps to support and build your own community. If you are in the Dallas area, I hope you will come out to the Jingle Bash to show your support for over 60 outstanding artists. The majority are from the DFW metroplex, but there will also be some guest artists from Oklahoma, Denton, and Austin. And of course, we will be there too! I hope to see you there.
