Halloween at our Cottage

 This lovely witch has been a part of every one of our Halloween celebrations for 8 years now. 

She gives out candy while we are out gathering our own stash.

 Everyone agreed that this neighbor had the scariest decorations.
The. head. talked. Uck!
That's my little Fireman. He wasn't deterred by the ghoulish head.
There was candy to be had after all. 

 My sweet Egyptian Princess loved the guy on the ground
complete with his own tombstone.

Counting up all the loot at home. My kids love to sort
and tally every single candy. 

Good for the math skills,
bad news for the Mommy who wants to sneak a few.
